Bar Stock Exchange

Famous for its XXX fries and the unique bar menu. As the name suggests the prices of drinks are displayed similar to the stock market & the rates of drinks go up and down real time. So you might pay 70 for a LIT at 6pm and 250 at 8pm, depending on the demand. Cost for 2 with alcohol and food will be around Rs.1500. They have 10 outlets across Mumbai so choose the one close to your home or office.

Social Cafe and Bar

Unwind your long day with some EDM and techno music. The grungy and raw decor of this place makes it stand out from the other pubs in town. It has these quirky charging points dangling on each table for all insta lovers to keep there phones fully charged at all times! They have 9 outlets across Mumbai and cost for 2 with alcohol will he around Rs.1600.

PS- The glasses come with quirky hashtags. And no you can’t take them home even if you want to pay for it!

The Fable, Juhu

Tucked in the ground floor of the Ashiyana Apartments in Juhu, this cosy little joint is a must visit for all the couples and Book lovers. Once you enter you feel like you have entered the world of Hansel and Gratel. Only everything inside is made of books instead of chocolate. The menu is carefully selected and with a good collection of wine and liquor. Cost for 2 with alcohol would be around be around Rs.2500.

Doolally Taproom

If your favourite childhood board games along with alcohol and friends sounds like the deal, then Doolally is here to pleasantly surprise you. What I like about the place is the fuss free ambience and decor, a no nonsense limited menu where every single dish has its unique blend of ingredients, their pet friendly policy and the hump day special pub quiz for the all the millennials hitting that mid week crisis every Wednesday! The only place in Mumbai serving a decent range of ciders and house fries with 5 difference kinds of dips to die for. They have 5 outlets across Mumbai, a pint of cider costs Rs.300 and one serving of house fries are just Rs.250. When they launched they gave away extra dips for free, only to realise how greedy we Indians can get when given free food 😂. Currently additional dips cost around 20 to 30 bucks each dip.

The Tasting Room, Lower Parel

Hands down one of the most spacious restaurants in Mumbai. This European themed restaurant is the best place in Lower Parel if you want to impress that special someone on your first date. The decor is tasteful and elegant with just a hint of opulence. Under the Good Earth group of companies this restaurant will look like a interior decor showroom at the first glance. Although The Tasting Room has been there for quite sometime now, the Endless Sangria Fiesta at Rs.1126 per person launched few years back has been a major hit. Also a hot favourite for bottomless brunches, you can book your table in advance on http://www.wowtables.com and enjoy special member only discounts. The a la carte menu will cost around Rs.2600 person with alcohol. A complimentary basket of organic bread awaits you once get a table 🙂

Farzi Cafe, Lower Parel

One among the 30 odd pubs that have cropped up inside Kamala Mills in the last few years. This place stands out for its gourmet dishes, unique drinks, psychedelic projection lighting giving the feel of a mini indoor music festival and quality crowd. Obviously given the location the majority of the visitors are regular office goers in and around Lower Parel. The place is popular for hosting office parties, has a decent dance floor and has a DJ who takes requests! A rare bird these days 😉 They have 2 outlets in Mumbai, both in Lower Parel and the third one opening soon in Oberoi Mall in Goregaon. Cost for 2 with alcohol is around Rs.1850. They welcome you with this unique and weird eye ball looking complimentary yogurt shot!
